The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

Schon der Release der letzten Episode habe ich vollkommen verpasst. Sonst gab es doch immer (zu Recht) überall Newsmeldungen dazu.

Aber egal, werde es mir am Wochenende gönnen.

Gerade gesehen, dass die letzte Episode heute erschienen ist...?!

 

Mal schauen wann ich dazu komme, Telltales Stealth Releases gefallen mir irgendwie nicht so .

Der Release wurde vor fünf Tagen angekündigt. Mir war er jedenfalls bewusst.

Für alle die gewartet haben lohnt es sich jetzt auf Steam zuzugreifen, da die gesamte Staffel um 60% reduziert ist. =)

Ich finds immer noch ziemlich Scheisse wie es jetzt von Telltale gehandhabt wird. Da ist einfach immer null Momentum vorhanden, man weiss nie wann die nächste Episode erscheint. Ein paar Tage vorher und die News wird gedropt und dann zack ists da. Bei Staffel 1 konnte ich das Episoden-Format und die damit verbundene Begeisterung, mit der man ein Spiel über Monate interessant halten kann, noch ziemlich gut verteidigen. Season 2 und auch The Wolf Among Us haben mich aber gerade in der Form ziemlich enttäuscht.

Ich für meinen Teil werde jedenfalls, bis auf weiteres, nicht mehr vor Abschluss in eine Telltale-Serie einkaufen .

Ich verstehe das Problem überhaupt nicht, der Trailer+Release Termin werden immer knapp 1 Woche vor Release veröffentlicht. Das ist mehr als genug Zeit. Ich freue mich jedesmal darauf und ist mir um einiges lieber als ewig lang entfernte release Termine.

Fand das Finale ganz ok, leider nicht so gut wie Episode 4 geschweige den das Finale von Season 1.

Telltale is working on something to tide you over until Season 3 of The Walking Dead drops.

 

Telltale has confirmed at SXSW that Season 3 of The Walking Dead is in development. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait until then to play new content.

 

At the SXSW panel the team confirmed that while it will still be a while until Season 3 comes out, we should expect something in the The Walking Dead series soon. Perhaps referring to a 400 Days-style episode to tie Season 2 and 3 together.

Announced this morning at E3 in Los Angeles, today we can finally reveal the next installment for The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series, set to premiere later this fall!

 

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Games Mini-Series stars the iconic character from the comic book series haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret. The story explores her untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. Through this Telltale Games mini-series of 3 episodes, players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.

 

You can expect to see the premiere this fall on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and compatible iOS and Android-based devices. You'll need at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two in order to play The Walking Dead: Michonne, but we'll have more info on that for you closer to the premiere date.

 

So why did we choose Michonne for Telltale's first-ever mini-series? Robert Kirkman and Telltale's own Kevin Bruner can tell you more...

The Walking Dead: Michonne is a new Telltale Games mini-series kicking off next year.

 

Telltale shared a short trailer for the first episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne at The Games Award 2015.

 

We didn’t get any new information, so as far as we know it’s still DLC for Season Two and coming to all the same platforms.

Telltale nervt diesbezüglich extrem. Es wird eine Ankündigung angekündigt um einen Releasetermin in einem ungefähren Zeitrahmen anzukündigen. Warum nicht einfach 1.4.16, basta?

Episode One: In Too Deep will be released on February 23. In it, Michonne joins Pete and his crew on the ship The Companion as they “cruise the coast for survivors and supplies.”

 

Upon noticing a signal for help, the group comes upon a “horrific massacre” leading them to the “floating survivors’ colony of Monroe.”

 

The second episode, Give No Shelter, will follow in the month of March, and conclude with the third episode, What We Deserve, in April.

 

All three episodes in the miniseries will be available for purchase for $14.99 or regional equivalent when the first episode debuts. This will include access to the second and third episodes when made available.

 

The Walking Dead: Michonne – Episode One: In Too Deep will release Feb. 23 on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services along with the PS3, PS4 version through PSN and Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions through XBL.

Today we can share the premiere date and new key art for The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier, the third season in the critically-acclaimed series.

 

The first of five episodes in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier will premiere digitally worldwide starting Tuesday December 20th on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360, and on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The episode will be available the same day for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play.

 

Beginning February 7th, the series will also be available for purchase on a special 'Season Pass Disc' for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, which will include the premiere episode for the third season, as well as access to all subsequent episodes in the five episode season for download as they become available.

Da ich Season 1 & 2 auch als Discs habe werde ich mir auch hier eine geben. Habt ihr Season 2 durch? Ich bin da irgendwo in der Hälfte und zocke die wenn möglich noch durch bevor ich diese anfange.

Ich fand Season 2 ganz okay, aber diese Episodenpolitik nervt mich. Ich hole mir dann die Komplettversion. Auf das monatelange Warten für 1.5 Stunden Unterhaltung kann ich mittlerweile verzichten. Da verfliegt doch die ganze Dramatik.

Ich hoffe, dass sie sich wieder an den ersten Teil orientieren. Teil 2 war zwar per se kein schlechtes Telltale-Spiel, kam aber deutlich nicht an den ersten Teil heran.

Das war schon von Anfang an ein Problem. Ich habe den Sinn hinter dem Episodenformat noch nie verstanden. Bestes Beispiel Life is Strange. Das hat mich völlig weggeblasen als ich es in einem Rutsch durchgespielt habe. Hätte ich immer 3 Monate warten müssen bis mal die nächste Episode kommt, hätte ich alles aus der vorigen vergessen und die Charaktere wären mir nach dieser Zeit auch ziemlich egal.

Als interaktive Serie betrachtet ja ganz witzig. Die Abstände bis sie erscheinen sind als Spieler einfach doof. 2-3 Wochen wären passend. Aber Monate, v.a. bei Wolf Among Us, hat mich recht gestört.

Wenn ich die Disc geholt habe werde ich def. noch warten. Bei Batman werde ich bald mal einsteigen, da fehlt glaub nur noch eine Episode.

Ich würd gern mal Gameplay zum Titel von Overkill (Payday Macher) sehen, der 2017 kommen soll.

Jup. Habe die anderen Seasons auch auf Disc.

Heute unverhofft die Disc im Briefkasten gehabt. Episode 3 kommt glaube ich im März.

Wtf gerade noch auf der Wog-HP gelesen: Fünf Episoden: Season Pass Game Disc enthält Episode 1 - die Episoden 2-5 folgen in jeweils regelmässigen Abständen via Ingame-Download (Internetverbindung erforderlich).

Heute erscheint endlich die Episode 4

Bin gespannt, mir gefällt die 3te Season um einiges besser, als Season 2. Hat ein paar neue interessante Charaktere dabei.

Die fünfte Episode von "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier", die den Namen "From the Gallows" trägt, wird bekanntlich am 30. Mai 2017 für PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS und Android erscheinen. Telltale Games hat jetzt einen Trailer zu der finalen Folge der dritten Staffel veröffentlicht.
