Boah...was die Musik ausmachen kann ist schon krass...den originalen Trailer hätte ich fast nicht zu Ende geschaut

Aber der editierte Trailer macht einfach Lust auf mehr...es gibt einem das Gefühl, wie episch das ganze sein könnte...genau so muss sich ein Trailer anfühlen...

Ich habe einfach das Gefühl, dass es wie eine 2-stündige Parkour-Adlersprung-Zwischensequenz sein wird... Aber die Machart selbst passt wirklich wie die Faust aufs Auge :-)

The Division is being made into a movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal - report

 

 

A silver screen adaptation of Tom Clancy's The Division is in the works with Donnie Darko himself Jake Gyllenhaal playing the lead.

 

As reported by Variety, Gyllenhaal is also producing the film.

 

A movie based on The Division shouldn't be that surprising given that Ubisoft's shared world shooter was the best-selling new video game IP in history based on its first week. It generated an astounding $330m in only five days. As of mid-May it had over 9.5m registered users.

 

Of course, there's still a fair chance the film adaptation of The Division will never see the light of day. Variety noted that the studio is still looking for a writer and that Ubisoft has yet to shop it around. Speculation suggests that the video game publisher wants to enlist another big-name actor to the project before pitching it.

 

Amusingly, this wouldn't be Jake Gyllenhaal's first rodeo starring in a film based on an Ubisoft property as he previously starred in the Prince of Persia film. I reckon he'd look far less out of place in The Division's disaster-stricken Manhattan.

Den Regisseur kennt man von Traffic und Syriana.

Hat hier jemand Assassin's Creed gesehen? Würde mich mal Wunder nehemen was ein Spieler der Reihe zum Film meint.

Donnie Yen To Headline ‘Sleeping Dogs’ For Neal Moritz’s Original Film

 

Who best to start a new IP for Neal Moritz’s Original Film (Fast and Furious) than the IP Man himself? Martial artist Donnie Yen is set to star in a new feature from Moritz entitled Sleeping Dogs, which is based on the top-selling video game by Square Enix.

 

Yen, who recently co-starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and xXx: Return of Xander Cage, follows an undercover police officer (Yen) on a mission to take down one of the most powerful and dangerous criminal organizations in the world: the notorious Triads. The movie based on an action video game is set in Hong Kong and focuses on martial arts fighting, racing, boat chases … and shooting while doing all of that.

 

Yen, a Chinese martial artist, has long been a fight choreographer and is probably best known to audiences as the star — and Wing Chun grandmaster — of the IP Man franchise. Original Film is producing with DJ2 Entertainment, specifically producers will be Moritz, Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons with Toby Ascher and Stephan Bugaj executive producing.
